I am watching the Senate NBN investigation and, even if really don’t comment about GMA’s government anymore because I really HATE them, I can’t resist hating them even more with the kind of questions Miriam Defensor-Santiago is throwing at Jun Lozada’s way. What she is doing is character assasination, evidently, and doesn’t even any slightest bearing to what the investigation wants to uncover. Iniisip niya siguro na kapag na-discredit niya si Lozada, mawawalan ng credibility si Lozada at hindi mabibigyan ng weight ang testimonya niya. The Mad Cow does this every time there is a witness against the government. Bully for you Mad Cow, matalino si Lozada. And bully for you again Mad Cow, the people know na sipsip ka lang kay Gloriaetta kaya mo ginagawa iyan.
GO TO HELL MAD COW!
i would agree to what you have said. i’ve been watching the senate NBN investigation the whole day. But then again, using what sen. escudero have shared during the break with Pinky Webb, “minsan kailangang madungis ang mga kamay kahit kaunti upang makapasok at mapuksa ang mga bagay na sadyang marumin” (paraphrased).
what’s with this Mad Cow’s interpolation?! Lozada was the victim here!
post more entries Mr. Yaelski! all the best!
I’m beginning to think of the Senate investigation as entertainment, but when the Mad Cow started talking, i got really pissed. Siguro of line of thinking niya, kailangang sobrang linis ka para paniwalaan kita. Pero tao lang naman si Lozada na maaring nagkaroon ng pagkakamali habang nagtatrabaho with the Philippine Forest Corporation. but from what Lozada has shown, he is honest enough to admit this and shows Miriam that whatever he has done in that office and whatever she is trying to shore up is beside the point. ang pinag-uusapan ay ang ZTE-NBN, hindi ang pagkatao niya (Lozada).
May point din si Escudero sa kanyang sinabi at konek din ito sa ginagawa ni Miriam. Madalas kasi ang iniisip ng tao eh ang malilinis lang ang may kakayahang maglinis. But human nature sometimes gets in the way, and sometime it is indeed the one who has soiled his hands in that dirt can be the only one to clean it up. Maybe this is what Lozada can do.
salamat sa pagbisita! Lilinawin ko lamang po, girl po ako. ;p
interesting points you have. i also didn’t like how Miriam pursued her “questions to test credibility” during the Senate hearing earlier because Lozada’s “sins” are not the point of the whole discussion.
but i also thank Miriam for raising the issue — not belabor it — becasuse it sensitizes us to a necessary balance in weighing in testimonies at the Senate. After all, we shouldn’t just take a person’s words at face value. Miriam’s questioning actually led Escudero to say to Lozada: (paraphrased) “You will agree with me when I say that it takes one to know one? It takes a thief to know a thief?
Then again, Miriam should not have belabored the point.
Who likes Mad Cow anyway???? Miriam is the biggest nuisance to senate. This is girl has not learned her lessons and she will never will. She wants to discredit Jun Lozada sad to say she just made Mr. Lozada more credible and commendable sad to say it was her who became the villain. Its about time Miriam does this country a favor packed her things and check in at the nearest Asylum together with Apostol. Shame on this rascals!!!
Cybergenics, you forgot one more person who should go with Miriam and Apostol to the asylum–Raul Gonzales.

I recently came across the website below regarding Mr. Jun Lozada and I thought I should share it with you:
